A WINNING TEAM

Tuolumne County wildlife rescue, care and rehabilitation was initiated 25+ years ago by Nina Huff Resnick

Nina then worked primarily alone, with little help from the community, taking in a variety of birds and mammals

In 2002 Rose Wolf Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation Center became a 501c3 non-profit, all volunteer organization

Judy Herring assists with board leadership, guidance and persistence of mission

Jamestown veterinarian Dr. Tomi Henderson, assists with care for sick, injured or orphaned birds, fawns and other wildlife

SONORA - TUOLUMNE COUNTY, CA

Rose Wolf rescues, cares for and rehabilitates about 150 animals each year, with many of them being returned to their natural habitat to complete their life cycle

We are licensed by the California State Department of Fish & Wildlife to

rescue, care for and rehabilitate orphaned and injured animals and return them to their natural habitat

We specialize in caring for small mammals, such as fawns, raccoons, opossums, rabbits, foxes and squirrels

The animals are cared for primarily at this facility, with additional help from community volunteers

2020 AND BEYOND

We are looking for continued support from the community, as we expand and enhance our new 10 acre facility

We will continue our community education with talks and enrichment programs where we train volunteers and educate the public

With hands on knowledge, experience and expertise from Director Nina,

Rose Wolf Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation Center will continue to provide the best possible care for the wildlife in need in Tuolumne County
