Tuolumne County wildlife rescue, care and rehabilitation was initiated 25+ years ago by Nina Huff Resnick
Nina then worked primarily alone, with little help from the community, taking in a variety of birds and mammals
In 2002 Rose Wolf Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation Center became a 501c3 non-profit, all volunteer organization

Jamestown veterinarian Dr. Tomi Henderson, assists with care for sick, injured or orphaned birds, fawns and other wildlife
Rose Wolf rescues, cares for and rehabilitates about 150 animals each year, with many of them being returned to their natural habitat to complete their life cycle

We specialize in caring for small mammals, such as fawns, raccoons, opossums, rabbits, foxes and squirrels
The animals are cared for primarily at this facility, with additional help from community volunteers
We are looking for continued support from the community, as we expand and enhance our new 10 acre facility
We will continue our community education with talks and enrichment programs where we train volunteers and educate the public
